Womenhood Sanctuary is not a retreat. It is a return. A living commune set on sacred land north of Sydney — warm air, food grown from the earth, resident healers, and a community built to hold women at every stage of their unfolding.
Sacred spaces for art, ceremony, music, healing, and stillness. A kitchen garden that feeds the community. Evening fires under open sky. Shared meals, shared stories, shared purpose. A pace of life so grounded that your nervous system finally exhales.
Women are tended at the centre — always. Partners and husbands are warmly welcomed alongside them, subject to full background screening. No criminal history. No history of domestic abuse. That line is never compromised — because the safety of this space is what makes everything else possible.
A sunlit space for painting, sculpture, and creative expression in all its forms.
Private one-on-one sessions with resident healers — energy work, bodywork, and therapeutic guidance.
A grand gathering space for seminars, ceremonies, workshops, festivals, and sacred circles.
Warm, private rooms for women arriving to stay — peaceful, safe, and beautifully kept.
Premium private suites for extended stays, retreats, and women who wish to arrive in full comfort.
A dedicated workshop for handcrafting jewellery — tools, materials, and creative mentorship on hand.
A space for personal styling, dressing up, and creative expression through the language of clothing.
The heart of the sanctuary. Fresh produce from the garden, shared meals, and the nourishment of community.
A thriving kitchen garden — growing food with care, connecting women to the earth and the seasons.
Ancient wisdom, modern practice. Fermenting, pickling, and preserving food naturally — without cold or heat.
Instruments, sound healing, song, and the deeply human medicine of music and voice.
A quiet sanctuary within the sanctuary — books, journals, and space for deep, unhurried reflection.
A sacred room for meditation, ritual, and ceremony — where women gather in stillness and intention.
Evening gatherings under open skies — storytelling, song, starlight, and the ancient warmth of fire and community.
From intimate weekly circles to grand annual festivals — the sanctuary is always alive, always full of healing, learning, and the profound energy of women in their power.
Four decades of healing, creating, and transforming lives. Wendy is a healer, artist, guide, and the heart behind Womenhood Sanctuary — a vision she has carried for years, now made real. When she walks into a room, everything changes.

We are gathering founding women — healers, elders, creatives, professionals — who recognise this vision and feel called to help shape it. If that is you, we are already expecting you.
Womenhood Sanctuary is seeking founding patrons — women and men of means who believe in creating a world where women have a place to land, heal, and rise. Your investment shapes this into reality.

Womenhood Sanctuary is built on a foundation of mutual care — not charity, but genuine community. Every woman who arrives contributes in the way she is able, so that the sanctuary can continue to serve the next woman who needs it.
Women arriving on government benefits are warmly welcomed, and asked to contribute 50% of their fortnightly allowance toward their stay — in return for a private room, three meals a day, and full access to everything the sanctuary offers.
Those with greater means are invited to give more generously — so that those with less may always have a place here.
